Hi I'm xps600 and I am dying to start up my own tracker site. I have looked at a few scripts and seen some I like. If there is anyone who can help me put this together I would greatly appreciate it. I am in need of a server and script, and probably a url, hehe not too sure how it works but I have the money and I really want to strt one up. Hey xps... First of all... this is an tracker announcement section of the forums. If you already have a tracker, you can advertise it here and ask for the users opinions.. Everyone here is helpfull... all you have to do is ask for the right info... :) Secondly... the link that you gave here has an email id of the person who is willing to sell it of for some bucks... The script is for sale, if you are interested mail me at: flxfxp.:at:.gmail.:dot:.com, we'll work out a nice price You have the money and that guy has the talent... negotiate a price with him/her and there you go.. :) Thirdly... never do anything over which you dont have control or dont know... I wanted to get my own tracker up as soon as I got into the torrent world.. but I dont know a hair of PHP or mySQL... as these two are heavily used... He can set it up for you, but when he/she is gone, who will take care of things if something goes wrong...??? You wil loose control and your money over it... You will need: Alota money (lol)... A host that allows torrent trackers (even for testing). A dedicated server which i think you will have to configure it your self. A domain name. A source code. A grafix proggy like PhotoShop And last but not least... a hell of knowledge of php, sql and the likes And above all... sheer dedication... ;) First try to experiment with something.... you will learn plenty of things doing it though... Hope you understand what I am tryingto say.. ;) Regards.... XP mate there is a forum tracker code about somewhere you could always try only downfall is I think it is torrenttrader not tbdev yeah tried to install that application but ran into problem after problem, So I stuck with tbdev |
