Hi !

I installed the tracker from TBDEV.NET-12-09-05.rar, evrything works real fine, except for this:

I have 100 kB/s for uploading. When I start seeding, a few people connect and I usually upload around 80 kB/s, even 100. I can see the green smiley in Azureus telling that everything works fine.

But then, if I remove/stop the torrent from seeding, and then I relaunch seeding, the Azureus icon remains yellow, and I only can seed for about 15 kB/s, even less, sometimes!

I was just wondering if any of you have had this problem, also, I hope I haven't removed accidentaly a few important lines in the code for this issue.

Thanks for any help. :)

sounds to me like its more of a problem with your client. maybe an upgrade/re-install is in order. or closer inspection of the config.

but i really don't know, as i don't use the client.

Actually, I have the same problem with BitTornado, the re-seed seems very slow.
I was just wondering if there is any part of the tracker's code I should check for this (I guess not, but we never know!). :)

when you reconnect, is it to the same exact peers?

are you always shown as firewalled when you reconnect to torrents?

have you checked, doublechecked, and checked again your firewall and router settings if you are running either of these?

i have never experienced this problem and i connect to my tracker and reconnect to my tracker countless times per day.

thousands of people do, and this isn't happening.

so i am going to guess that your problem is either on your end, at the PC your using, or within the network you're on. or its because of a change you may have made to your tracker, usually within the announce.php file.

i suggest looking over your ports.

i've forwarded ports on different machines, even using the same software, and run into different situations. so even if you think you've got it all down pat, sometimes things can go awry.

If Azureus is showing yellow, use Tools / NAT-Firewall Test to find out why.

And if you're using Windoze, check and see how many instances of Azereus are running. It will usually spin off a ghost and killing the ghost will work wonders for your speed.

I'll try to check the instances of Azureus, but I just realisez that this might come from the leecher!
When I reconnected, there was only one leecher, and he would not leech more than 4 kB/s. But then I had another one, and he would leech at 50 kB/s (correct speed). And eveything seems fine, now.

Sorry for bothering you, it seems that this is a leecher problem. :)
