btw, i used the handy delacct.php to remove myself from the lamer site mentioned above. at least that'll be one less database my info is found in when they get removed. |

My mods/admins do exactly what they need to do. There is one that has some weird comments some times, but hey...we're race fanatics. We were born crazy. But most of the time they're quiet. Only speak when needed or when they think it's necessery. But fortunatly i'm blessed with the greatest tracker community ever. Maybe because we all point in the same direction. Sharing as much race stuff as possible! Let the downforce be with you! |

the mods on my torrent site are good decent folks. they do their jobs well, like your mods, all going for the same goal. although they do get overzealous looking for cheaters, and i often have to explain exactly how the tracker works to them. now my experiences wiht message boards is different. i ran several large infopop boards for warner brothers and sony. those always had mods where it went to their head, as they were now a big bad moderator on the message board for the band they think they love the most. i shoulda called this thead "WHEN GOOD MODS GO BAD".. lol |

It's been my experience (at least on the forums) that mods are better if you don't hang a title on them. Let them do their job and sign it "staff". The regulars will know anyway but the trolls and spammers will never know when it's safe. Bernard |

would it be possible to crate a shared db in which user, email etc bans could be shared and each site that signs up to this service can add the v. unsafe bans and have an almost global torrent site ban, or a system like the peer guardian mod which downloads a text file and adds it to your database? just an idea, could be useful |
